Rollerblade Recreation Range Guide

Rollerblade has been supplying skates to the world since the very beginning of inline skating. They offer amazing models for all types of inline skating like Speed, Urban and Recreational. Their original recreational models have a reputation of lasting sometimes longer than a decade if taken care of properly. We often have some customers arrive in the shop with Rollerblade skates they've own since the 90s, which are still going strong and just need replacement wheels or bearings.

If you are considering a pair of recreational skates that you can rely on then the new range of recreational skates from Rollerblade might be for you. Let’s take a look at the different Rollerblade Recreation models available.

Zetrablade
If you are looking for an entry level pair of recreational skates, the Rollerblade Zetrablade Inline Skates are a great choice. These are the current version of the Zetrablade and they feature a sleek, no nonsense, black colourway with silver detailing.

What makes this skate great for beginners are the Lo Balance composite frames that house the wheels which keeps the skate nice and light, reducing shock from bumpy ground which helps when you are starting out.

The Rollerblade Zetrablade also has support in all the right places and its buckle and lacing system enables you to adjust the fit as you wish. Comfortable and soft inner boots ensure your feet feel good allowing you to skate for hours and improve your skills.

The secure boot structure, padded liner and an upgraded engineered mesh provide sock-like comfort and lateral support. An aluminium frame improves performance by adding more power transfer and durability.

Another small thing worth noting is that the frames on these skates are 84mm wheel compatible. If you want a little more speed later on you can replace your 80mm wheels with some 84mm's.

The differences between Rollerblade Men’s and Women’s Skates
In this particular case there is a difference between the male and female versions of each skate. The women’s skate will have a lower cuff than the men’s version due to most women being shorter and their calves being lower than most men. This is something to keep in mind if you are deciding between each colour choice.
