Great for Intermediates: Sunday Stroll and Summer Wednesday Night Skate
For a step up, check out the London Street Skates crew. Their Sunday Stroll is a relaxed, social skate starting around 1:45pm every Sunday, covering 7-9 miles with marshals, music, and a DJ on the mic for extra energy. Routes change weekly, starting and ending at Hyde Park Corner.
In the warmer months (roughly mid-April to mid-September), they run the slightly faster Wednesday Night Skate from 7:45pm which is still intermediate-friendly but with more pace, covering 10-12 miles starting and ending at Hyde Park Corner.
These are marshalled for safety and open to anyone who can stop, turn, and handle some hills.
