What Are Rollerblade Skates?
Rollerblade skates are some of the most popular inline skates on the market and they have been around since the beginning. It all started in 1980 when two ice hockey-playing brothers found an inline skate and decided that this design would make an ideal off-season hockey-training tool. They refined the skate they found and began assembling the first Rollerblade skates in the basement of their parents' Minneapolis home. It was that same year, when they founded the company that would become Rollerblade.
Through the years, Rollerblades have achieved several industry firsts, such as the use of polyurethane boots and wheels, metal frames, dual bearings and heel brakes. Fast forward to now and we stock the latest range of Rollerblade inline skates for men, women and children and have models suitable for every level of rider.
Find the Right Rollerblade Skates for You
Rollerblade Zetrablade and Macroblade
If you are looking for a recreational skate the Macroblade range will have you covered. At entry level we have the Zetrablade or Macroblade 80 model and these are both perfect for beginner to intermediate level skaters. They're comfortable, supportive and come with a heel brake, which makes them a great first pair of rollerblades.
Faster Rollerblade Skates
If you are looking for something a bit more advanced then there are higher end versions that come with either 84mm, 90mm or 100mm wheels. Bigger wheels roll faster and smoother, so they're ideal for fitness skating, longer distances and commuting.
Rollerblade Twister
One of our favourite skates though has to be the legendary Rollerblade Twister. An all time classic the Twister has been popular for years, the plastic shell provides brilliant support and will stand up to more aggressive use. It's a favourite for urban and street skating, and a skate we recommend time and again. For any advice on Rollerblade skates please feel free to give us a call and we will talk you through everything you need to know.
Rollerblades for Men and Women
Our Rollerblade skates come in men's and women's fits, so you get the right shape and support for your foot. Browse our men's inline skates and rollerblades for women to see the full range alongside other top brands.
Rollerblades for Kids
We also have an extensive range of rollerblades for kids. As parents, encouraging our children to take exercise seriously can be a nightmare, especially as so many kids are only interested in playing with their favourite games console or chatting to friends online rather than in real life. Perhaps the best way to encourage your child to get active is to introduce them to a hobby that they'll adore for years to come. Rollerblading is beneficial for your kids in many ways, from letting them soak up the sun to providing them with an effective form of exercise.
Rollerblade Wheels, Parts and Protection
Keep your Rollerblade skates rolling with replacement inline skate wheels, bearings and brake pads. Swapping to fresh wheels is one of the easiest ways to make an older pair of rollerblades feel new again. Don't forget a helmet and pads, especially while you're learning.
