Every season, Carver introduces new innovative deck models with original templates and molds. However, this time, we aimed to push the boundaries further, recognizing the limitations of wood deck construction, including restricted compound-curve potential.

With an unwavering commitment to excellence, we set our sights on creating the quintessential deck, featuring concave, nose, tail kick, and precisely placed wheel wells – a skateboard that even JPL or Nasa might produce. Choosing Nylon 6, a material crafted from recycled fishing nets, was pivotal due to its specific structural properties, high mechanical strength, lightweight nature, and mechanical dampening qualities, allowing it to flex and feel organic like wood. No ordinary plastic possesses these critical characteristics.

This is Carver’s hybrid surf and skate truck. On the one hand it’s a lightweight standard RKP (Reverse King Pin) hanger and base, on the other it has a patented geometry that squeezes every bit of turn and pump from the system. This means that you can pump this truck like a C7, but it lands airs and rides fakie with more stability as well. This opens up aerial maneuvers, and keys in with the latest progression of airs in surfing.
