London Street Skates
If you’re into your Inline Skating or Roller Skating and can skate at a reasonable level you should give one of the amazing London Street Skates a try. They are free events that basically involve large groups of skaters meeting for a ride through the London streets.
All the skates are marshalled by dedicated volunteers who help to control traffic and ensure a safe route through the city. Routes vary week in week out and can range between 5 to 15 miles so depending on your ability you may want to start with the Sunday Stroll and work your way up to the Friday night Skate.
The London street skates not only offer a unique skating experience but they are a great way to keep fit and socialise as well as take in the streets of London. Loud music systems carried by the Marshalls keep the music playing and the crowd rolling creating a carnival atmosphere and brilliant night out.
Slick Willies is proud to help promote the London skate scene and raise the awareness of these fantastic events, for more details please see below.
