Cliché Skateboards was launched in the summer of 1997 by pro skateboarder Jeremie Daclin in his hometown of Lyon, France. Designed as an alternative to the southern Californian skate brands of the time, Daclin wanted to create a brand to suit the styles of his friends and the skaters of Lyon. Renowned for being key players in the world of skateboarding, Cliché create great quality boards featuring old school graphics, reminiscent of the 90s skate scene across Europe.

Cliché has worked with some of the best skateboarders from around Europe – Lucas Puig, JB Gillet, Charles Collet, Lem Villemin, Andrew Brophy and Flo Mirtain to name a few. In its 20 plus years, the brand has also released some of the best skate photography books to date, most notably Hand in Hand which featured a selection of photos from the 2010 Israel tour.

Alongside their incredible boards and photography books, Cliché have also released a number of critically acclaimed videos featuring the talents of many pro skaters, all whilst putting Europe’s biggest skate spots on the map changing skateboarding’s geographic scope forever.
